L'Oréal were after a makeover for their current Headquarters in Hammersmith in London. We have created collaboration areas to enhance the communication between the teams and enable L'Oréals staff to collaborate, interact and work in a more agile way. A breakout space (Collaboration Lab) was introduced on every floor of the HQ. It was key in the design to reflect L'Oréal's branding and identity within the space. The breakout spaces were inspired by the origin cities of L'Oréal's different brands; Paris, London and New York. Each collaboration lab was resembling a city; the New York loft, the Parisian Restaurant and the Parisian Bistro. On the 8th floor sits the main café for all L'Oréal staff, we created a nature inspired space which we named "Café in the sky". The use of timber with the gold leaf fabrics and gold pendant lights adds a touch of finesse.
We wanted to re create the charm of a Parisian Bistro for colleagues to enjoy their lunch together. The mirrored wall and rattan furniture create this, and why not add cherry red scooter?
We extended the beauty treatment to service spaces such as the showers and restrooms. The brushed gold feature wall brings this makeover to the smallest of spaces. For L'Oréal, beauty is more than skin-deep.
